Talk: Square mile

From open-encyclopedia.com - the free encyclopedia.

I am wondering about the wording of this article. It says A square mile (symbol miČ) is an imperial unit which is the area of a square whose side is one mile. Shouldn't this read ...which is equal to the area of a square... Or is the current definition a formal definition of what a square mile is? -- Popsracer 10:42, 29 Sep 2003 (UTC)
