What is the source for the birthdate of "9 April 1471" which an anon editor has given for Pizarro? I have been unable to find that in other sources, so I have reverted the article pending explanation. -- Infrogmation 18:49, 19 Nov 2004 (UTC)

Pizarro's exact birthdate is unknown (as an illegitimate child, his parents probably weren't terribly motivated to provide any detailed accounts of his birth). "Circa 1471" is as precise as any respectable historian has been willing to estimate. - Albrecht 20:20, 1 Dec 2004 (UTC)
