Welcome
Hello, welcome to Wikipedia.

Here are some Open Tasks :
|
You might find these links helpful in creating new pages or helping with the above tasks: How to edit a page, How to write a great article, Naming conventions, Manual of Style. You should read our policies at some point too.
If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian!
- If you made any edits before you got an account, you might be interested in assigning those to your username.
- You can sign your name using three tildes, like this: ~~~. If you use four, you can add a datestamp too.
- If you ever think a page or image should be deleted, please list it at the votes for deletion page. There is also a votes for undeletion page if you want to retrieve something that you think should not have been deleted.
Again, welcome! - UtherSRG 13:18, 22 Apr 2004 (UTC)
Yes, welcome. Appreciated your contrite comment on VfD about Googli-whatsiname, thank you and sorry about the rabbit. I actually didn't think any of your comments were inappropriate, sorry in some ways if you took mine as criticism, it wasn't meant that way. But I think the result has been good in terms of building the team to write the encyclopedia, and I tend to be goal-driven so that pleases me and I'll accept a few ruffled feathers along the way.
You've jumped right in, which is great. Hang in there, and feel free to drop me a line on my user talk page if you think I can help with anything. (How's that for a blank cheque?) Andrewa 02:35, 10 May 2004 (UTC)

Definitely Hungarian, but are you sure he's Jewish? (especially given all the Christian Mythology in To Reign In Hell) - Udzu

I've just changed it into a redir, that way anyone misspelling it will be redirected. Dunc_Harris|☺ 22:40, 1 Aug 2004 (UTC)

Though you are right that these quotes do not belong on wikipedia dont just outright delete them but rather move them to wikiquote, it probably took someone a little if not alot of work to gather those. -- Ævar Arnfjörð Bjarmason 01:52, 2004 Oct 8 (UTC)
Correction
About Borzoi please read what I wrote to Sannse, it is not really true what is written now. But thanks Dan Koehl 12:54, 14 Nov 2004 (UTC)
How to revert
I just fixed Johann Nepomuk Huber, thanks for pointing out the vandalism. Reverting is really easy, though, so if you find something else that's been vandalized here's how to do it yourself:
- click "page history"
- click the link to the version of the article from immediately before the vandalism took place - the last "good" version.
- from that version, click on the "edit this page" link. You'll be taken to an ordinary edit window with the contents of the old version in it, but with a warning at the top that you're editing an out-of-date version. In this case editing an out-of-date version is a good thing, so don't worry about the warning.
- without making any changes to the article text, add an edit summary such as "reverting vandalism" and click on the "save page" button.
This replaces the vandalized text of the article with the pre-vandalism version. Make sure to use this power only for good and never for evil, and you're all set. :) Bryan 00:49, 20 Nov 2004 (UTC)
Wikifun round 4
Hi, I noticed that you competed in a previous round, so I just wanted to tell you that Round 4 of the Wikifun trivia quiz is now running... -- Eugene van der Pijll 22:34, 25 Nov 2004 (UTC)
About Robert Baltovich
I saw you edited Robert Baltovich saying 'it turns out somebody else did it'. This is what Baltovich says and it might be true, but as far as I've read, no court has ever decided this, so I've reverted to the previous content. Saforrest 23:16, Dec 2, 2004 (UTC)
